Sessions and Payment

MDB Tutoring provides one-on-one online tutoring through Zoom at a rate of $100 USD for each 60-minute session. Sessions are reserved upon advance payment and payment must be completed before the session is confirmed. Complimentary 15-minute introductory meetings with Liza are available and are confirmed when scheduled.

Changes, Cancellations, and Refunds

We require at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations or rescheduling requests. Cancellations made with at least 24 hours’ notice are eligible for a full refund, while rescheduling requests are subject to tutor availability. If notice is provided less than 24 hours before the session, the full session fee will apply unless MDB Tutoring approves an exception.

Missed Sessions and Emergencies

For a student’s first missed tutoring session without notice, we give a warning and waive the session fee. Any payment for that missed session will be refunded. After that, missed tutoring sessions require full payment.

We understand that emergencies and extenuating circumstances happen. Exceptions may be made on an individual basis; please contact Liza as soon as you can.

Technical difficulties or other disruptions that interfere with a session will be reviewed individually to determine whether a refund or adjustment is appropriate.
